BLOG TOUR~Extraction by Stephanie Diaz

The Stephanie Diaz YA Dystopian Extraction Blog Tour has ended. See details below:

Extraction (Extraction, #1)
Series: Extraction #1
Release date: July 22nd 2014
Publisher: St. Martin's Griffin
Purchase: Amazon

Synopsis via Goodreads:
"Welcome to Extraction testing."

Clementine has spent her whole life preparing for her sixteenth birthday, when she’ll be tested for Extraction in the hopes of being sent from the planet Kiel’s toxic Surface to the much safer Core, where people live without fear or starvation. When she proves promising enough to be “Extracted,” she must leave without Logan, the boy she loves. Torn apart from her only sense of family, Clem promises to come back and save him from brutal Surface life.

What she finds initially in the Core is a utopia compared to the Surface—it’s free of hard labor, gun-wielding officials, and the moon's lethal acid. But life is anything but safe, and Clementine learns that the planet's leaders are planning to exterminate Surface dwellers—and that means Logan, too.

Trapped by the steel walls of the underground and the lies that keep her safe, Clementine must find a way to escape and rescue Logan and the rest of the planet. But the planet leaders don't want her running—they want her subdued.

With intense action scenes and a cast of unforgettable characters,Extraction is a page-turning, gripping read, sure to entertain lovers of Hunger Games and Ender's Game and leave them breathless for more.

BLOG TOUR~Supernova by Elizabeth Sharp

The Elizabeth Sharp's Supernova Blog Tour has wrapped! See details below:

SupernovaRelease date: October 4th 2013
Self-Published
Purchase: Amazon

Synopsis via Goodreads:
On Cleo’s first day at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Academy, things get pretty weird pretty fast. After being confronted by a strangely hostile boy, she meets two girls and instantly bonds with them. Before long danger threatens the entire student body, in the form of a soul eating possessor fae. When her brother is savagely beaten and left in a coma, the girls decide to use their fae powers to become superheroes and stop the possessions.

They quickly learn things are a lot more complicated than they had ever imagined. A government plot that had begun when they were infants endangers them all, and a demented former soldier bent on revenge is after them. The line between friend and foe has become so blurry, Cleo has no idea who she can trust. Will their superhero plot help them save the day, or just get them killed?

Elizabeth SharpAbout the Author
Elizabeth has a near crippling Facebook addiction, dwarfed only by her need for Dr. Pepper. A self-proclaimed techno geek, she loves cell phones, computers, tablets and all things technological. The internet has to be the greatest invention since the wheel, in her opinion. She lives in a quiet subdivision with her husband, one-year-old son, three cats, and far too many electronics. It’s quite possible she has some raccoon in her DNA, because she loves glitter and anything that sparkles. She enjoys making jewelry and costumes. Halloween is her favorite holiday since it’s the one day of the year that you can be whatever you want. But her first love will always be writing. Otherwise, hearing voices in her head would make her feel schizophrenic.

NOTE: Please do not post any negative reviews below 3 stars that is hurtful to the author and affects the promotional aspect of the tour. Post the blurb & giveaway instead, or send me an email if you'd like to back out altogether. Thank you for understanding.

Blog Tour Stop~"High" Guest post & Giveaway by Corey M. P.

Welcome to my stop on the Corey M.P. High Blog Tour. Check out the author's Guest Post below:

HighReleased: December 28th 2012
Publisher: French Press
Purchase: Amazon | Barnes & Noble
Synopsis via Goodreads:
Sonja Fines is a thirty-year-old, uptight, sleep deprived, workaholic from Manhattan who hasn’t taken a day off in years. On a Friday before a Fourth of July weekend, she hops in a cab, late for an important presentation, but ends up in a coffee shop…in Montreal. Shocked by her sudden escape, she meets laid-back Chad Miller. They spend the next three days together, and quickly fall for each other. Sonja has never been happier. But when Chad suddenly reveals something from his past, Sonja flees in a hurry—and her life turns upside down. Overwhelmed with emotions, she embarks on a roller coaster of spontaneous decisions that change her life dramatically.

~The Sonja Fines Moment~

What is The Sonja Fines Moment? More importantly, who is Sonja Fines?

Sonja Fines is the protagonist in my contemporary novel, HIGH. She’s a thirty-year-old workaholic from Manhattan who hasn’t taken a day off in years. She’s sleep deprived, uptight, quite unhappy, and lives a monotonous life. She goes to work early, comes home late, eats TV dinners, shops online in the middle of the night, and then repeats the process the following day.

But on a Friday before a Fourth of July weekend, she hops in a cab—late for an important presentation, but ends up in a coffee shop…in Montreal.

Sonja’s life is about to change.

The Sonja Fines Moment:
The Sonja Fines Moment is a moment of realization in the midst of a chaotic time, and you’re faced with an important decision.

So what does Sonja do at a moment like this? She does the unexpected.

Excerpt:
Am I really here? Because the lack of sleep and the temporary jolt from the caffeine this morning have left me wondering if I conjured all this up in my head. It’s possible. But my doubts fade fast, and everything becomes real as soon as the cobblestones touch the soles of my shoes, and we walk past narrow streets surrounded by historical buildings, and I hear Chad’s voice.
“This is it. This is Old Montreal,” he announces, spreading his arms. “This square is ‘Place Jacques-Cartier.’”
I inhale slowly, soaking it all in. I step forward and backward, my neck twisting and turning, memorizing every corner. I feel an instant connection to this place. Something about being here grabs me and infatuates me. I begin taking mental pictures of the narrow alleys decorated with rows of artists and vendors. I start imagining myself dining at the sidewalk cafes, sitting there with Chad during the summer, spring, winter, and fall. I get this strong desire to take off my shoes and walk barefooted on the cobblestones as if I have found my new home. But I leave my thoughts and emotions to myself. Instead, I look at Chad, who is watching me with a smile that melts me away.
How did I get here?
