Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spines. I'm currently using the Xpresso Reads edition, which is the blogger who made me aware of the meme. My WoW pick today is:
MILA 2.0
by Debra Driza
Hardcover, 480 pages
Expected publication: March 12th 2013
Publisher: Katherine Tegen Books
Pre-order: Amazon | Barnes & Noble
Synopsis via Goodreads:
Pitched as a "Bourne Identity"-type sci-fi thriller about a teenage girl who discovers that she is a Mobile Intel Life-like Android, an experiment in artificial intelligence created by the U.S. government, and her scientist mother, who kidnapped her when she was found to have human emotions.
Why I'm waiting: The fact that this book is deemed as the female scifi version of Bourne Identity has me anxious. I loved that series and would love to see a girl in that role. Mila 2.0 sounds exciting and I can't wait to read the novel.
What are you waiting on?
