Synopsis via Goodreads:
When darkness consumes you; will it be hard to find the light?

After Jade's world was torn apart, she is unsure of where she belongs, if anywhere at all. Deceived by those she trusted the most, she must now accept her fate and the life that lays before her.
The voices are back but this time, they are trying to lure her into the darkness. But could they be telling her the truth? That the only person she has been able to trust since the death of her boyfriend, Avan, is lying to her too? If the voices are right... Could she really trust him?
In Fallenmore, the second book in the Feathermore Trilogy, Jade will embark in a quest through the pits of Hell. The question now is: once she is in, will they ever let her out?
Fallenmore exclusive Excerpt
“I took his distraction as my chance to escape. There was no way I was ready to deal with whatever had just happened. And by the look in his face, he wasn’t too happy about my diving into his head. Even if it had been by accident.
The door slammed as the cold air of the night wrapped itself around me, cooling my burning cheeks. I zipped the green military jacket I was wearing and dug my hands into its pockets. The street was deserted. In the distance, I could hear the music and chatter coming from Main Street, where people should be spilling out from the restaurants and movie theatre. I gave the Sing-a-thon another fleeting lookbefore making my way into Main, a short walk would clear my head right up.
“Jade!” Blake’s voice made me freeze. I really had hoped I wouldn’t have to deal with whatever had happened in there just yet. Looking straight ahead I could see the warm glow from where people were enjoying themselves. Here, just a mere two blocks away, the air was cold and dark. It was as if we lived in two different dimensions and I wanted to be over there. Blake jogged over to me. “Jade…” he whispered.
“Whatever that was… I’m sorry; I don’t know how that happened.” I extended my arm behind me toward the Sing-a-thon.
“I know.” He said softly and looked into my eyes, as if he were really looking inside of me. As if, my eyes were some kind of portal to my soul, to my inner, private thoughts. Which, if I had a soul would have been a problem, but I was an Angel, and Angels didn't have souls.  I looked away breaking the moment.
Just then the door to the Sing-a-thon opened and a fit of giggles erupted. “Blake!” She couldn’t leave him for five seconds, could she?! I stiffened a growl, but Blake noticed it. Savannah’s high heels clanked on the sidewalk as she approached. By the sounds of her footsteps, she had been sneaking something into her soda.
“From the looks of it, you have your hands full here. I will see you at home.” I brushed my shoulder past him but he caught my arm.”

Thank you, Shane, for hosting me today! It has been a pleasure.
