Q: What is a book you didn't like that all your friends raved about or what book did you love that wasn't popular?

Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin, #1) Illuminate (Gilded Wings, #1) Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1)
That's easy for me. I didn't enjoy Grave Mercy, Illuminate, and especially Throne of Glass , the way others did. I just couldn't get into either of the three. No offense to the authors because each were well written.

Pretty In Black (Pretty in Black, #1)
A series I love that doesn't seem to be really popular around the book community is Pretty in Black. I think the story is really interesting and Rae's a cool writer.

    I really liked Grave Mercy, but I haven't read the other two, and don't really want to.

    I hadn't heard of Pretty in Black, so I'm going to go look it up! :D

    I've always wanted to start with the novellas by Sarah J. Maas before digging into Throne of Glass. I have the first one on my e-reader and will try it out before I buy more.

    I thought I was the only one! I really TRIED reading Throne of Glass, but it didn't work out for me. ;)

    Hopping through. I loved Grave Mercy, but I've read quite a few reviews that absolutely hated it. So you're not alone.

      Yea i see a lot of mixed reviews, but idk i just couldn't get into the story and i tried reading it three times.

    Haven't read any of those books. Remember Grave Mercy being really big but it didn't really grab my interest to want to read it.

    THANK YOU! I thought I was the only one who didn't like Throne of Glass. And let me tell you, I was so pumped when it came out. I pre-ordered it and everything! It wasn't what I expected at all and I thought the story and protagonist were terrible!

    On the other hand I just finished and loved Grave Mercy lol.

    Pretty In Black is new to me, but I did read Grave Mercy. I really liked it. I haven't read Illuminate or Throne of Glass. Not real sure about Throne of Glass either.

    I absolutely LOVED Grave Mercy!!! I have Throne of Glass on my TBR list! One that alot of people said they loved but I just didnt like at all was This Is Not A Test...I just couldnt get into it :(
