This is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Today's question is:
If you could "unread" a book, which one would it be? Is it because you want to start over and experience it again for the first time? Or because it was THAT bad?
Illuminate. Not because it was that bad, but because I was so sick of all the unnecessary details in each chapter. I didn't even complete the book. I made it to a couple chapters then I just couldn't handle it anymore. Maybe one day I'll start over (which I have to in order to remember what it was about) just to try it again.
~Nice cover though~
And of course I'd like to re-read Nevermore to experience that awesomeness all over again.
Which book did you pick?
I have not read this book, but I do love the cover. Hope you enjoy it the second time you pick it up

I really didn't like Illuminate. It was just too slow & focused on too many insignificant details. I only finished it because it was part of a book tour & I had to send it onward. There'a a review on my blog if you want my take.
ReplyDeleteNew follower! My follow friday. Hope you swing by!
I haven't read this book but I agree I need a million details to describe a certain scene or whatever is going on.

I read Illuminate and it doesn't get any better. It's pretty much full of unnecessary stuff- if the author cut about 100-150 pages, it actually had the potential to be a pretty good book. I thought the idea/premise was interesting.
ReplyDeleteI'm following you through GFC, my blog is at: http://365-books-a-year.blogspot.com/
I haven't read this book yet but ugh I hate books that have too much unnecessary info. I once read this book where I actually skipped about 5 chapters completely and in the end it made no difference!

Oh my God! I thought this book was amazing!... nah! I just liked this color. Hope you enjoy next time. I had this problem while reading Halo by Alexandra Adornetto, but I gave up. It was too bad for me!
ReplyDeleteI think I would unread Fracture, because it was a waste of time and very frustrating. I'd love to experience Nevermore again like reading it for the first time. That book was so amazing! Great pick! :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read this yet but it;'s on my TBR:)
