Stacking the Shelves #78

STSmall_thumb[2]

This is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, where you showcase all the books you've received in the past week.

I haven't been doing a book haul because I haven't been requesting much. I wanted to get through my TBR. But I received some surprises in the mail over the past from a super awesome lady at Simon & Schuster.

I am over the top to have received an ARC of Ashes to Ashes because I really enjoyed the first two books. As for Chasing Before, I'd have to read the first book in that series, and I'm not really familiar with The Boy I Love. Seems interesting though.

Special thanks again to Katy at Simon & Schuster books for young readers :)

Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies in the blogosphere and beyond, and a very special love and appreciation going out to my own. Sadly, I'm far away from her right now and I miss her dearly, but no matter what I can feel her love for me stronger than ever. Love you, Mommy!!

I got some awesome books that I'm pretty excited about, and at the same time staring wide eyed at my TBR pile. There are soooooo many books I need to read. I think that's going to be my new year resolution, to lighten the pile and get back to doing more reviews for my blog.

*Special thanks to the publishers for being so kind, and also thanks to Lindy of A Bookish Escape for the Harlequin package :)

*From Harlequin:

*From HarperCollins:

*From Penguin

*Heard Had Half is going to be a movie so that's cool cause it's about witches!

*From Simon & Schuster

There you have it. I certainly have a lot to keep me busy with for the rest of the year and beyond that :)

I hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving. I sure did. In fact, while out shopping on Black Friday, I picked up a paperback copy of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. I've been curious about this book ever since its release so I'm not sure why I'm only getting it now. Anyhoo, I'm excited to read the story.

Ooh, I also completed NaNoWrimo 2013 by reaching 50,000+ words so I'm pretty happy about that as well. Now I have to go do some serious editing if I intend on sharing my story with you guys :)
