Q: It is up to you to do a Kickstarter campaign for your favorite book!!! Who are you casting for the main characters?


Ooh, that's a tricky one. It's not the easiest thing trying to pick real life actors that will depict the same appeal and vision you had for them in the book so I don't know if I could ever pick the "right" actors. I know that's so blah but it's really hard to pick actors that will match up to my favs in Nevermore. There will never be anyone in real life that will look exactly the way I envision Varen or Isobel, but I'd say Shiloh Fernandez and AnnaSophia Robb.

    I've never read the book but by looking at the cover I'd the say the cast you chose is pretty darn close to it. Thanks for stopping by my F&F. :)

    Thanks for visiting the land of Yumminess earlier! I haven't read this yet, but I think I would be a fan of this cast from what I've heard. One of these days I'll make it to it, and will certainly be picturing these faces along with it!

    Good Cast, they are slightly different than what i would have picked, but i guess that's the beauty of this feature :) Good job though :)

    Haha! Nice! You spoke my words exactly!! Actors never really live up tom expectations of book character roles. Mostly because I think of them in whatever their current or "hot" role was. To me, they are that character! I still think of Heath Ledger as the bad boy from 10 Things I Hate About You vs the Joker!

    It's hard to get the 'right' actors as everyone has a slightly different mental image of what they should look like. I don't know the book but the actors you picked look fairly similar to the cover models so you've obviously picked up on the publisher's vibe. Thanks for stopping by my F&F

    I have Nevermore on my e-reader but haven't read it yet! I love Edgar Allen Poe so I wanted to get this one. I love your casting, but agree it's hard to pick what you visualize in your mind as being 100% accurate! Thanks for sharing!
