CAN'T WAIT TO READ: Black Bird of the Gallows by Meg Kassel

Release date: September 5th 2017
Publisher: Entangled Publishing
Pre-order: Amazon

Synopsis via Goodreads:

A simple but forgotten truth: Where harbingers of death appear, the morgues will soon be full.

Angie Dovage can tell there’s more to Reece Fernandez than just the tall, brooding athlete who has her classmates swooning, but she can’t imagine his presence signals a tragedy that will devastate her small town.

When something supernatural tries to attack her, Angie is thrown into a battle between good and evil she never saw coming. Right in the center of it is Reece—and he’s not human.

What's more, she knows something most don't. That the secrets her town holds could kill them all. But that’s only half as dangerous as falling in love with a harbinger of death.

Meg KasselAbout the Author

Review: Breaking Him by Sherilee Gray

Release date: September 5th 2016
Publisher: Entangled: Scorched
Purchase: Amazon

Synopsis via Goodreads:
Folks in town call him a monster—say he’s dangerous. But I know him simply as Elijah Hays, the quiet, gentle giant who works with the horses on my ranch. I can feel him watching me, that steady intense gaze making me crave things I don’t quite understand, burn in a way that frightens me. He’s always kept his distance…until that night.

I remember him coming to my rescue, me following him into the barn, giving him his first taste of a woman, and his inexperienced yet barely reined touch turning me to ash.

Now all I can think about is exposing the dark desire I see deep inside him—having him turn those dark desires on me. That low, gritty voice rasping orders in my ear. Those huge, rough hands holding me down when a storm blows in.

I want his surrender. His control. I want to break him…and have him break me…

*Publisher approved request via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Ahem. Ahem.

Well, this was one very sexy story. I'm talking heat level to the roof. I haven't read an erotic novel in so long, not one of this caliber, because I always felt like the majority had no substance and were just about sex. But Breaking Him had something else going on. The characters connected on an emotional and sensual level, and I could understand how exploring each other in that sense could render them vulnerable and willing to lose all control.

Loved the small town setting and how the characters' lives revolved around a ranch. Abigail had inherited it from her father and was doing her best to keep it going, with the help of Elijah--a terribly misunderstood man who came off so kind and protective at heart. He treated Abigail with respect and always looked out for her. Even when intimate he would always make sure she was okay to take things further. I loved his gritty exterior and wanted to know more about what went on in his mind. So I was happy when Abigail broke through and got him to open up to her. Things weren't easy with these two at start, towns people were often judgmental and Abigail wasn't always sure of what Elijah wanted, but it was nice to see how things played out in the end. They both deserved to be happy.

Nicely written with vivid descriptions that one could get lost in, Breaking Him offers a darker, desirous, more intense pull away from fluff that will definitely make you blush and leave you gasping for air. My only wish is that it was longer.

Tara A. FullerAbout Tara
Tara Fuller writes novels. Some about grim reapers. Some about witches. All of course are delightfully full of teen angst and kissing. Tara grew up in a one stop light town in Oklahoma where once upon a time she stayed up with a flash light reading RL Stine novels and only dreamed of becoming a writer. She has a slight obsession with music and a shameless addiction for zombie fiction, Mystery Science Theater, and black and white mochas. Tara no longer lives in a one stop light town. Now she lives with her family in a slightly larger town in North  Carolina where they have at least three stoplights.

BLOG TOUR KICKS-OFF~Luminosity by Stephanie Thomas

Hey ya'll!The Stephanie Thomas Luminosity Blog Tour is on from October 29th to November 13th. See schedule below:

Description via Goodreads:
My name is Beatrice. When I was born, I was blessed with the Sight. I was immediately removed from my parents and enrolled in the Institution. At the age of twelve, I had my first true vision, earning my raven’s wings. And when I turned seventeen, one of my visions came true. Things haven’t been the same since.

The Institution depends on me to keep the City safe from our enemy, the Dreamcatchers, but I’m finding it harder to do while keeping a secret from everyone, including my best friend Gabe. It is a secret that could put us all in danger. A secret that could kill me and everyone close to me.

The enemy has been coming to me in my dreams, and I think I'm falling in love with him. He says they're coming. He says they're angry. And I think I've already helped them win.

This is a awesome beginning to an exciting new series. Don't you want to be a part of it?
