Feature and Follow #57

This is a weekly blog hop hosted by the wonderful Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Today's question is:

Q: What do you do with your books after you are done reading them?

Good question. I either add them to my wonderful collection, or pass them down to my little sister to read. If its a book or series I absolutely adore and can't separate myself from, I buy her a copy and keep mine, especially if its signed :)

How about you?

  2. I don't have anyone to pass the book down to. I'm pretty sure that the Mr. doesn't want to read my paranormal romance books. No matter how much I talk about them.

  3. Oh, I wish I had a little sister who liked to read. My little cousin isn't a big reader, so I can't really give her anything. I either trade my books for other books (YA Book Exchange shout out!), but if I can't part with them, I keep them on my shelf and loan them to friends :D

  5. Hopping through. I often give my books to my parents, but sometimes if I really love the book, I'll buy them a separate copy.

  7. This would probably be my exact answer haha! Even though I know I probably won't pick up a series in years again, I just can't let them go. Some may say it's hoarding, I say it's keeping my treasures. I have a younger sister too and she's always asking to read my books. I usually let her but I make her swear she'll take extra good care of them. I'm kind of anal about stuff like that. I like to keep them in pristine condition and her books show lots of wear and tear. Great answer!

  12. Yes! Series and signed books are keepers and the hardest to part with. I usually buy another copy if I want someone to read either. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier.

  13. That's nice that you pass them to your sister. I'm not sure I would. I'm crazy about even lending them out. I think people don't even ask me because they know I'm nuts.

  17. I used to sell all the books that I gave 3 stars or less because I felt that only great books deserved to be on my bookshelf. But lately, I have been keeping them. Maybe I will start selling them again sometime soon because I don't have much space left:)
