Stacking the Shelves #49

STSmall_thumb[2]

This is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, where you showcase all the books you've received in the past week.
This week I received only one book but I'm happy with that because I seriously need to catch up on some reading because I've been lacking in reviews for a while now.

  2. I feel you I could go months without getting anything new and still be behind but it's just so hard to stop! LOL Haven't heard of this one but looks like a nice read. Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by Some Like It Paranormal!

  6. Sometimes not getting too much is the best thing that can happen, even more if you're a bit overwhelmed what the TBR pile already!

My haul wasn't huge either, but one of the books totally made my week!

  7. Some of the best weeks are when you get just one book--lets you take a breath and hopefully mark a few books off the ever growing list. I've not heard of this title but I hope you love it Shane!

  9. I seriously need to catch up on all my galleys. Unfortunately, I seem to suffer from an undiagnosed case of book-cover-lover-trigger-finger. The symptoms are lusting after book covers & requesting them immediately. It's a problem.

Good luck on working through your stack & enjoy your new novel!

  11. Recipe for Success sounds like a wonderful book about family, love and loss. From the blurb, I think the grandmother sounds like a fascinating character. Enjoy!

  15. Hi, Shane!

I've just checked this book out on Amazon, since I've never heard of it, and then added it to my wish list. It looks FABULOUS!! I love stories in which conventional heroines suddenly turn into unconventional ones, especially since they find themselves in so doing. Sure hope you enjoy it!

Thanks so much for dropping by and commenting on my own STS post!! : )

I bought only one book: Of Beast and Beauty by Stacey Jay and I already finished it. It's a retelling of Beauty and Beast with some high fantasy. Check this book out because it is simply amazing =)

    Happy reading!!!

  20. I definitely hear you about needing to catch up! I like that cover, nice and fresh looking, makes me think of the beach though I've yet to visit a real ocean one!

  21. Heh, so you also got only one! You're definitely right, catch-up time is much needed. The amount of unread books I own makes me really really nervous :/ I hope you'll enjoy this one!
